The MCTA was started in Monte Carlo by David Sammel and Vin Hillsdon in 2006. In October 2007 Vin withdrew to pursue other interests and the MCTA became a UK company. In January 2010 the MCTA Group joined forces with the TeamBath International High Performance Tennis Centre to provide a holistic tennis programme from junior to the professional level.
