Neil had this to say about the Locker Room Power presentation "Everyone could identify with the presentation. We will certainly focus more on our weapons in future amongst other gems delivered on the day."

David Sammel recently did his Locker Room Power presentation at an away day for Chelsea FC coaching staff.  Neil Bath the Academy Head and Frank Arnesen (scouting and recruitment) have a team who are relaxed and confident so the interaction was interesting and productive. The concept of Locker Room Power is powerful and helpful to understand if a team or individual is to win consistently at a high level. This presentation defines this aura and shows how elite performers can work towards gaining and retaining a fear factor.

David was joined by MCTA ambassador and coach Barry Cowan for a day observing the Academy at work and seeing both the first team and Academy facilities in Cobham. Neil has designed a fantastic interactive and functional computer programme that creates an environment that is organised, monitors and assists both coaches and players to be accountable with everything done instantly online so no paper is ever needed in meetings. A transcriber inputs all decisions and the system also has all information for coach access. For example the LRP presentation and all other resource information is quickly online for reference. David was impressed by Neil's philosophy of Leadership Management whereby any strategy or new ideas no matter how sensible or successful they might be elsewhere needs to be tested for how well it can be managed into the existing framework. This ensures the smooth integration of any improvements.

As with any high performance programme it has its challenges but it is clear that Chelsea intends to stay at the top of world football and produce its own players to establish an ongoing brand of football that is effective and attractive to watch.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.

Get free downloads for Internet Explorer 7, including recommended updates as they become available. To download Internet Explorer 7 in the language of your choice, please visit the Internet Explorer 7 worldwide page.
