Stefi Boffa continued her improvement by making the final of the 10K in Jersey, but unfortunately not able to serve as well in the final as she had done all week. All credit must go to Katarzyna Piter from Poland who played a very good final winning in two sets (62, 62). Stefi will now play a 10K in Spain before doing a couple of English exams ending the year with a 75K in Dubai. Christina Mathis the newest MCTA recruit will play three 10K’s in a row in Spain.

Further good news for MCTA is the scan result for 'Fitzy’s' foot. The stress fracture is completely healed so she is now strengthening her legs in preparation for 2009. It has been a long 3 months for Anna and she is looking forward to getting back to the tour. 'We hope Anna will be able to use the physical work and reflection to her advantage next year, as often it is only when something is taken away from you, do you fully appreciate its value to your life' says MCTA trainer Jez Green.
