Jim Edgar Senior Performance Coach
Jim and Dave have worked together for over 20 years and share a tennis vision. The opportunity for Jim to join MCTA as a part time coach was grabbed by both with enthusiasm and definitely strengthens the team. Jim is the Chairman of TennisCoach UK and conducts its annual roadshow programme as well as many coach education courses.
Igor Tomasevic Academy Coach
Igor Tomasevic is a part time MCTA Coach, in charge of coaching and travelling Ilija Vucic. When he is not working with the MCTA squad Igor divides his time touring with the top juniors and seniors from Serbia. Past pupils include Sanja Racic, Fed Cup Player for Bosnia & Herzegovina and Ana Veselinovic, Fed Cup Player for Serbia & Montenegro.
John Hicks Performance Coach Consultant
John’s coaching career spans 5 decades. He has worked with some of Britain’s top players including Tim Henman, Miles Maclaglen, Andrew Richardson and Lucie Ahl. During the 1990’s John set up a successful tennis squad in Wrexham and his players went on to win 15 National Junior titles. In 2004 John left Wrexham to work for the LTA with the U18 National Girls Squad based at Queens Club. John has extensive knowledge and passion for the game which he passes on in his consultancy role to coaches and players at the TeamBath MCTA Academy.
Ian MacDonald Boys U18 Performance Coach
Ian is a CCA qualified coach. Following a two year position at Millfield, one of Britain’s leading Sports Schools he joined TeamBath Tennis as an Academy coach. During his time at TeamBath, Ian has produced two Junior Wimbledon and Team AEGON players. Ian was a top 8 National Player and a BA (Hons) graduate of Sports Management from UWIC University.
Eve Langley Girls U18 Performance Coach
Eve is a PCA Qualified coach with a strong tennis career, having achieved a Junior and Senior World ranking. She joined TeamBath Tennis in 2002 and during that time has produced Junior ITF and World ranked players. She has captained numerous LTA Great Britain Junior Teams and was the 2009 Women’s Coach for the medal winning British University Team at the World Student Games.
